After a summer-long effort to stop debris from flowing downstream and harming wildlife, keeping our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone, SOLVE's Waterway Cleanup Series wrapped up in October.

This seasonal initiative, a partnership between SOLVE and Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES, )unites community members in protecting Oregon’s rivers, streams, and creeks through hands-on litter cleanup events across the region.

The Waterway Cleanup Series focused on enhancing the cleanliness of waterways throughout Oregon.

The annual Waterway Cleanup Series, a collaborative effort between SOLVE and Clackamas Water Environment Services, has launched for 2024.

Our hearts are full of gratitude as we celebrate the conclusion of our summer-long Waterway Cleanup Series in partnership with Clackamas Water Environment Services. From May to September 2023, 1,600 volunteers joined us for 74 events across the state. Together, we removed an incredible 52,877 pounds of trash from our waterways, ensuring clean, healthy water for generations to come.
